Aquarius loves freedom and open mindedness. This energy reminds us that we are all sovereign beings. As we act based on our own self direction we support the positive unfolding in world around us. Know that your dreams and visions of a better world are happening now with each action you take.
The best thing is happening
Remember that the best thing is always happening, even if it doesn’t seem like it in the moment. For example, in my early twenties, my car wouldn’t start after filling up at a gas station in Georgia on a roadtrip from Michigan to Florida. It was a rainy travel day. Thankfully, there happened to be a mechanic shop there.
It turned out I didn’t need the mechanic, because the car started right up about fifteen minutes later. Not long after getting back on the highway we passed three big accidents. I knew right then that divine intervention delayed our departure. This was the one and only time my car didn’t start the whole time I owned it.
I like to remember that experience when things don’t seem to be happening the way that I would like. The best thing is always happening. Even if it doesn’t seem like that delay, hassle or negative experience is the best thing, it will serve a higher good in your life that you may or may not see down the road.
Your story isn’t over, so even if this chapter has down turns and heart breaks, remember there is always a next chapter. Reiki can help shift your energies and perspectives. It will keep your mind open towards noticing the positive outcomes and your heart open to appreciating things just the way they are.
You make a difference by just being yourself
Here is a personal story that shows how we make a difference just being ourselves and connecting with others. I was watching my three and five year old grandchildren last month. I had taken them to the reservoir with my two dogs. We had a great time playing by the water. When we got back to the van I heard a woman with four dogs and a wagon stroller say, “We did it!” After just getting the kids and the dogs in the van and feeling a sense of accomplishment for another fun outing, I yelled over to her , “We did it too!”
This lovely woman came over to me and asked if I could help her break down her new wagon stroller so she could fit it in her car. She shared with me that her older dog has cancer and Coot Lake was his favorite place. My heart went out to her and I felt a connection with her in that moment. She thanked me deeply for being willing to helping her.
We both acknowledged that life was about these connections, even with people you will likely not see again. In a world where others often aren’t willing or are too distracted to help, we both shared how good it feels to cross paths, share eye contact and help in situations when you can. I did send her and her dog Reiki as I drove home that evening too.
Never underestimate the power of your smile, kind works and actions. It may seem like nothing to you in the moment, but it really does make a difference.
Like always, Reiki will work for you in a way that serves you best. I appreciate you and hope you enjoy the pure Reiki being sent your way.
