Full Moon Reiki: The Power of Your Choices

Happy full moon!

Full Moon in Virgo

The Virgo moon brings out our detail oriented side. This is a good time to make repairs and troubleshooting. This is an opportune period for adopting healthy habits and clearing out your closet. Choices made now will be well planned and grounded in practical reality.

Your power of choice

Your choices hold a lot of power in your life. And there is great power in making your own choices. We are like sculptors molding our lives with our decisions. There isn’t necessarily a right or wrong path. It’s more about what qualities you want to focus on. Like how an artist carving a wood sculpture works with the grain and texture of the wood. With each movement you harness the power of your light. Your own purity moves into the world around you more fully with each action you take.

Mastering your life with your choices

As you accept responsibility for making your own choices you grow in your personal power. Rather than relying the advice or instructions from someone else, you rely on the signals your own body gives you. You develop mastery of your own life with each decision you make. You become more adept at interpreting the signals your body gives you the more you listen.

Listening to your body signals

Your body gives you signals if something resonates with you or not. Our body’s have intricate wisdom. Let’s use the example of looking for a house to buy to see how this works. When looking at each property notice how you feel in your body.

There are houses where you just want to leave as quick as possible. The home can look great in the listing yet when you are there, the place just feels wrong. This is a clear no. Usually we get these signals pretty quickly. The key is to start noticing the bodily feeling in the first few seconds. We often have a tendency to override the signal with our thoughts.

Next there are other homes that you feel comfortable in and take more time looking around. These houses you know can work for you and they check most or all of the boxes. Yet, something inside tells you to keep looking.

Then you you walk into a house and you feels good. Something inside you lights up. Plus, the house meets all the practical items you have listed. You may choose to ignore the positive feelings inside that says this is the one and keep looking.

There is nothing wrong with continuing to look and ponder your choices. Maybe there is something even better. This or something better, right? When the rest of the houses leave you feeling disappointed; you realize the earlier house was the one you like best. If it is still for sale you can make an offer.

Transforming light to form with your choices

And what I’m talking about here, is listening to yourself to make decisions. It is okay to get advice from others and talk to experts. With a big choice, that is probably a good idea. In fact, bringing a detail oriented Virgo along to look at houses would be very helpful. However, you are the one who has to live with the choices you make. So take your time when you are not sure. Relax and just be. Absorb the pure love of the universal light. When you are sure, act without hesitation.

With each choice you make you will get better at sculpting your life. While not all choices are as big as buying a house, each choice does have an impact on your life. You take the raw purity of your unlimited being and mold it into form with your choices. You really are a powerfully creative being of light.
