Full Moon in Aries

The moon in Aries inspires us to take action while our creative fires burn bright. Reiki along with the full moon in Aries fill us with resilience and courage to meet life’s challenges. Now is a good time for starting new projects and initiating changes.

You are fully supported in saying yes to yourself right now. You are constantly transforming and becoming more fully who you are. Reiki this month will help clear out the blocks to your own creative expression.

Follow your feet

My good friend, Judy Koons, encourages others to ‘follow your feet’. This means taking action beyond mental patterns. Do what comes naturally to you. Your body is part of nature’s intelligence and will carry you through the day. Our bodies always know before our minds do. The divine spark in you naturally wants to be expressed in your life through you. Where are your feet taking you today?

This reminds me of being in the flow. That beautiful state of grace where you are feeling fully aligned with the earth and the cosmos. The universal light is constantly being expressed through you. We each have our own unique filter for expressing that infinite light.

I enjoy singing sometimes when I’m out hiking in nature. I used to sing songs I already knew and there is nothing wrong with that. I believe we are all multidimensional beings of light. So I asked myself, why am I not singing my own songs? Now, I like to play with spontaneously singing my own songs.

There is a sweet space of just opening my mouth without a clue on what I will sing. I don’t know the words or the tune until it comes out. (This reminds me of writing these newsletter. I usually don’t know what in the world I’m going to say until I start typing.)

There is a freshness and deep presence when I spontaneously sing a new song. It feels alive and in tune with nature. I even sometimes sing to the trees.

There is also an element of trust that the next word or note will flow through me. And also a trust if there is a pause, a moment of silence where something else builds.

I usually don’t remember these songs. They are like sand mandalas that get wiped away when they are complete. This is about inviting the freshness and aliveness that is always flowing through your own unique link with source.

You can try this, it doesn’t have to be with song. It can be any action that you are taking. Are you doing something the same as you have always done? Do you do things just because everyone else does it that way? What ways could you express your unique aliveness? It could even be walking down the street where you live and seeing everything with fresh eyes. Or getting creative when greeting others. Or preparing a meal following your own inspiration.

Give yourself permission to spontaneously express your unique spark of divine light.
